The roof comprises two framed panels covered in mesh and hinged in the centre to cover the full length of the enclosure. The roof lies flat on top of your Pet Home when closed, and can be folded in either direction, or lifted off for easier cleaning.
Wood batons covering the edge of the mesh on the underside of the roof help protect you and your pets from sharp mesh edges, and also prevent the roof from slipping or being pushed off.
The roof comes in 3 standard sizes to fit our Pet Homes as follows:-
- 120x60cm – the fold direction can be specified as Front to Back, OR Left to Right.
- 150x60cm OR 180x60cm – Left to Right fold only.
Made from solid 20mm thick kiln-dried pine frame mounted with 13mm square galvanised wire mesh.
NOTE: The roof comes with 13mm x 13mm square mesh as standard which is suitable for the smallest of furry pets including mice and dwarf hamsters.
