This extra large indoor two tier Guinea Pig cage can be made as separate enclosures if you want to house guinea pigs separately, or as a two tier hutch with interconnecting access ladder, where each tier simply stacks on top, allowing it to be lifted off the lower levels for easier cleaning.

Mesh fronts are standard on both top and bottom levels, with a removable drop-down door on the lower level for access, and the ladder comes with safety side bars and ladder rungs to help your pigs get up and down.

A roof is advisable if you have small children, and essential where your household includes cats and dogs.

The RSPCA recommend 120cm x 60cm as the minimum cage size for 2 guinea pigs, and to add 30cm length for each additional guinea pig. This two tier option is a good way of gaining extra space for your pets, or to separate pigs that may not be getting along.

150 x 60cm – 2-3 pigs (separate enclosures), 4-5 pigs (two tier with ladder).

2 x 250ml tins of pet-safe clear matte water-based wood sealer are included to seal the base floors of your pet home, making it resistant to urine and stains.
Accessories not included but can be added to your order separately.
We sell a wood sealer paint brush if you need one.
We also recommend our Bottle Fixings pack (see photo) for securely attaching a Water Bottle to the timber walls.

Made from Materials

Made from 20mm solid timber frame, and 18mm solid timber back and side panels.
13 x 13mm square galvanised zinc wire mesh on roof and front panels, with the mesh edges covered in a wood trim.
Plywood bases supplied untreated.

Assembly

Base Units and Front panels are pre-assembled.
Some simple self-assembly required to screw the walls and attach hinges and door closers.
Comes with full Assembly Instructions.
