This fold-over roof is available in 4 sizes/styles, covering the full length and width of your Pet Home. It can be folded over in the middle, or lifted off completely for easy access and cleaning purposes.

The roof comprises two framed panels mounted with 13mm square galvanised wire mesh, hinged in the centre to cover the full length of the enclosure. The mesh is screwed on with wood batons on the underside helping to protect you and your pets from sharp mesh edges, whilst ensuring the roof is cat-proof.

You can purchase this roof at the same time as your chosen Pet Home in preference to the standard roof option, or purchase at a later date if required.

Note: The 13mm square mesh is suitable for the smallest of furry pets including mice and dwarf hamsters.

Sizing Guidance
  • The roof comes in 4 standard sizes to fit our Pet Homes as follows:-
    • 120x60cm – with fold direction Front to Back
    • 120x60cm – with fold direction Left to Right
    • 150x60cm – with fold direction Left to Right only
    • 180x60cm – with fold direction Left to Right only
What's Included
  • Hinged fold-over roof only.
Made from Materials
  • Made from 45mm x 20mm solid timber frames with 13mm square galvanised wire mesh.
  • Moulded wood trim added around the mesh edges on the underside of the roof for comfort and security.
  • Hinged in the middle with a pair of zinc-plated 38mm hinges.

  • No assembly required.

    Bought this roof as an upgrade for my piggies along with the enclosure, legs and a piggy house.
    It’s nice and sturdy and well built and I can confirm the roof is secure and strong enough to withhold a cat jumping on it.
