Sizing Guidance
The Blue Cross Animal Welfare Charity recommend a minimum enclosure size for a hamster at 100cm length x 50cm width x 50cm height but an increasing number of hamster owners are looking for a much deeper enclosure to provide an amazing natural habitat to burrow in.
This Wall Height Extension Unit adds a 30cm layer of wall height, providing 68cm of internal depth in total, when added to one of our standard height Pet Homes.
Available in 4 standard lengths (100cm, 120cm, 150cm or 180cm) with standard width 60cm, and height 30cm.

- We sell a wood sealer paint brush if you need one.
- We also recommend our Bottle Fixings pack (see photo) for securely attaching a Water Bottle to the timber walls.

- Made from 20mm solid timber frame, and 18mm solid timber back and side panels.
- Front panel made with clear perspex for a pin-sharp view of your pets.
- Plywood base supplied untreated.

absolutely love this cage, my Syrian hamster Luna has so much space to move around now, it’s so difficult to find hamster cages bigger than 120 and this meets all of our needs! highly recommend!

The guinea pigs really love their enclosure! Our kitten also loves being able to watch them when they feel like coming out of their hiding places, so the plexiglass has been perfect to ensure there are no accidents.
I’ve found the design really useful for cleaning out the enclosure as well as getting the pigs in and out. Being able to lift the top completely off and then having the drop down panel has been great. Despite the pigs often making it their mission to be as messy as possible, the wood has stayed in fabulous condition and I’m super pleased with it! Thank you.
