Sizing Guidance
The Blue Cross Animal Welfare Charity recommend a minimum enclosure size for a hamster at 100cm length x 50cm width x 50cm height.
The sizing of our Super Large Extra Tall Hamster Home vastly exceeds the recommended minimum floor area and meets the minimum height recommendation from Blue Cross providing an amazing amount of 3-dimensional space to fill with an 8″ layer of substrate, a 12″ wheel and lots of hamster activity toys.
What's Included
- All fixings and Assembly Instructions / Care Instructions included.
- A 250ml tin of pet-safe clear matte water-based wood sealer is included to seal the base floor of your pet home, making it resistant to urine and stains.
- Accessories not included but can be added to your order separately.
- We sell a wood sealer paint brush if you need one.
- We also recommend our Bottle Fixings pack (see photo) for securely attaching a Water Bottle to the timber walls.
Made from Materials
- Made from 20mm solid timber frame, and 18mm solid timber back and side panels.
- Roof panel made with 13 x 13mm square galvanised zinc wire mesh with the mesh edges covered in a wood trim.
- Full height front panel made with clear perspex for a pin-sharp view of your pets.
- Plywood base supplied untreated.
Assembly
- Base Unit, Front and Roof panels pre-assembled.
- Some simple self-assembly required to screw the wall and roof panels together.
- Comes with full Assembly Instructions.
