Pet Home Extension Options
If you’ve already purchased a Pet Home from us, and would like to expand your current setup (or need to separate pets that are not getting on), there are 3 different ways in which you can do this. For guinea pig hutches, extend upwards with an Additional Tier, or sideways with a Side Access Door and connecting hutch. For hamster enclosures, add a Height Extension Unit for a deeper, more natural burrowing experience.

Additional Tier with Drop-down Door – 3 sizes
From £234.00This listing is for customers who wish to add an additional tier to a hutch previously purchased from us, turning a single tier cage into a two tier, or a two tier into a triple tier.
Available in 3 sizes – 120x60cm, 150x60cm or 180x60cm.
The price includes a single tier hutch with drop-down door where the components combine with your existing hutch to form a stackable enclosure with optional access hatch and ladder. The removable ladder comes with side bars and ladder rungs for your pet’s safety, and each unit can be lifted off the lower levels for easier cleaning.
PLEASE NOTE THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF TIERS AS FOLLOWS:
- Floor based hutch – MAX TIERS IS 3.
- Hutch with bolt-on legs – MAX TIERS IS 2.
Wall Height Extension Unit in 4 standard sizes
From £119.00This Wall Height Extension Unit is built as a separate unit, providing an additional 30cm layer of wall height to your Pet Home. The unit simply stacks on top with internal retainers which prevent the unit sliding off, and can be lifted off separately for easy cleaning. It comes with solid timber back and sides, and perspex front as standard, and can be purchased at the same time as your chosen Pet Home, or at a later date.
Ideal for small pets including hamsters, mice, and gerbils that love to dig and burrow.
