NOTE: All Pet Homes made prior to May 2023 will NOT have base connector slots. Please let us know if you want to replace an existing base without this feature in the Order Notes at Checkout, and we can make your replacement base to suit.
Lift-off Fold-over Roof – in 4 sizes
From £109.00This fold-over roof is available in 4 sizes/styles, covering the full length and width of your Pet Home. It can be folded over in the middle, or lifted off completely for easy access and cleaning purposes.
The roof comprises two framed panels mounted with 13mm square galvanised wire mesh, hinged in the centre to cover the full length of the enclosure. The mesh is screwed on with wood batons on the underside helping to protect you and your pets from sharp mesh edges, whilst ensuring the roof is cat-proof.
You can purchase this roof at the same time as your chosen Pet Home in preference to the standard roof option, or purchase at a later date if required.

Note: The 13mm square mesh is suitable for the smallest of furry pets including mice and dwarf hamsters.
Mini Mesh Lift-off Roof 60x36cm
£35.00Mini roof for use in open enclosures where raised platforms are present, to help contain inquisitive guinea pigs.
This mini roof comprises a solid wood timber frame with dimensions 60cm x 36cm, covered with 13mm square wire mesh, and wood batons on the underside to cover the sharp mesh edges. The batons protect you and your pets, and they also prevent the roof from slipping off.

Pet Home Customisation: Removable Drop-down Front Door
£25.00This customisation turns the front panel of your chosen Pet home into a removable drop-down door, which includes specialist hinges and door catches enabling the door to open, lock and detach. The panel will also be glued with dowels to form a robust door that will withstand daily use.
Removing the door will allow your pigs to hop in and out of their enclosure, and will provide easier access for cleaning purposes.
