Sizing Guidance
Hutch available in 2 extra large sizes:
- 150 x 60cm – suitable for 2-3 guinea pigs.
- 180 x 60cm – suitable for 3-4 guinea pigs.
Photos are of the 150x60cm size.
What's Included
- All fixings and Assembly Instructions / Care Instructions included.
- A 250ml tin of pet-safe clear matte water-based wood sealer is included to seal the base floor of your pet home, making it resistant to urine and stains.
- Accessories not included but can be added to your order separately.
- We sell a wood sealer paint brush if you need one.
- We also recommend our Bottle Fixings pack (see photo) for securely attaching a Water Bottle to the timber walls.
Made from Materials
- Made from 20mm solid timber frame, and 18mm solid timber back and side panels.
- 13 x 13mm square galvanised zinc wire mesh on front and roof panels, with the mesh edges covered in a wood trim.
- Plywood base supplied untreated.
Assembly
- Base Unit and Front/Roof panels are pre-assembled.
- Some simple self-assembly required to screw the walls together and attach the roof panel hinges.
- Comes with full Assembly Instructions.

- External dimensions: Length 150cm or 180cm, Width 60cm, Height 40cm (without roof) or 42cm (with roof),
- Internal dimensions: Length 146cm or 176cm, Width 56cm, Height 38cm, Internal base depth 7.5cm.

We recently bought the XL cage from yourselves which our piggies love. We were wondering whether we could add another level to it with a ramp as they sometimes like their own space.
The cage is excellent quality and very well made, it was a pleasure to deal with you.
