This extra large Guinea Pig Hideaway House with platform roof and optional ramp ladder offers cosy snoozing space for up to 4 guinea pigs. The hide is sized to fit the width of our own indoor guinea pig hutches, but can be used within any wooden enclosure large enough to accommodate it. The roof adds extra space at the same time as providing an additional nesting place for your pigs to sleep.
Suitable for 2-4 guinea pigs.
Please note this house is 3-sided with no back panel as it is intended to sit against a solid wood hutch wall. The design provides more room inside for your pigs to move about.
We recommend sealing with our Pet-safe Wood Sealer prior to use for easy cleaning.

My guinea pigs like the house. I’ve only seen one of them use the ladder and he slid a bit, but they are only 8 months old and he hadn’t used a ladder before.
HAMSTER HOMES REPLY: Many thanks for the feedback. You can always make the ladder less slippy by “roughening up” the ladder surface – use rough sandpaper, or a single coat of the wood sealer which will raise the wood grain, or cover with some fleece material. For info, I’ve since amended the assembly instructions with these tips, so thanks for letting us know.

The guinea pigs really love their enclosure!… I’ve got into a great routine of putting the pigs out in the garden during the day and then giving the enclosure a proper clean out. They get very excited when they come back to some fresh fleece and their evening veggies ☺️
